According to ChainCatcher, DeFi United has announced a remediation plan for the Kelp DAO rsETH bridge vulnerability. Previously, a hacker exploited the bridge from Unichain to Ethereum provided by LayerZero, spoofing data to withdraw 116,500 rsETH. Of this, approximately 107,000 rsETH was collateralized on Aave and Compound through 7 related wallets. To address this, DeFi United stated that it has raised enough ETH to support recovery, and will convert in batches and lock it in the bridge contract. LayerZero Labs has also committed over 10,000 ETH to help rescue the system. Regarding the hacker's assets, the plan is to liquidate them in a controlled manner through Aave and Compound governance, expecting to recover about 13,000 ETH and 16,776 ETH. During the remediation process, WETH and rsETH liquidity across multiple chains will be frozen.
