国际清算银行：代币化或显著提升跨境支付效率与安全性
ChainCatcher 消息，由国际清算银行（Bank for International Settlements，BIS）主导的 Project Agorá 最新研究显示，代币化技术有望显著改善跨境支付中的结算速度与对账效率，并降低交易失败与操作风险。
该项目由 BIS 联合 7 家中央银行及 40 余家金融机构共同参与，包括纽约联储、Bank of England、Bank of Japan 及 Swiss National Bank 等机构。研究认为，将央行准备金与商业银行存款进行代币化，可支持跨货币、跨司法辖区的“原子结算（atomic settlement）”，实现交易“同时完成或同时失败”，从而降低跨境支付中常见的信用与执行风险。
目前，Project Agorá 已完成模拟测试阶段，并计划进入“真实价值（real-value）交易”测试阶段，探索部分货币与机构在真实资金环境中的链上结算应用。
